The figure shows the most significant correlations between the pregnancy
indices and variables and DNPM variables. Maternal stress (S), substance
abuse (A) and health problems (OP) in previous pregnancies indices were
positively associated with maternal health condition indice (H) during the
actual pregnancy.
Maternal Stress and substance abuse were also positively correlated.
Substance abuse (A) and bad maternal health conditions (H) decreased birth
weight (BW). Delivery conditions (D) were correlated with maternal health
(H). Bad neonatal breath conditions (B) were associated with bad H and D
and low BW.
