Reading Brain Mapping

The brain activity was recorded from 40 learning difficulties children (LD) and 40 children with no learning difficulties (NLD).

The regression analyses between the answer time at reading activities and brain activity showed that:

1) the answer time depended on the activity of different areas for LD and for NLD;

2) three activity brain patterns were associated also for LD and NLD, but these patterns were different;

3) three activity brain patterns were related to word reading on NLD group and just two patterns on LD group.
