Researches - 2006 & 2007
The age the child was able to maintain him/herself seated (SE) increased
as the birth weight (BW) decreased and the maternal health conditions (H)
worsened. SE was also positively correlated with the age the child start
to walk (W) and to talk (T). The age the child start to walk (W) increased
as the maternal stress (S) augmented and BW decreased. It also was positively
correlated with the age of beginning to seat (SE) and to talk words (T)
and phrases (P). The age the child start to talk (T) was negatively correlated
with BW and positively associated with SE, W and the age of beginning to
use phrases (P). P, in turn, was positively correlated with W and T.
